This is no doubt a problem with my video camera and not Blender, but I’m just wondering why this issue is happening. After I turn the video into an image sequence and then bring it back into Blender as images, it is only half the length.
Can’t get to the bottom of it. All the information is still there, but in half the amount of frames.
It may depend upon the codec that was recorded by the camera. If AVCHD the frames are interleaved so that you get a sort of interlaced effect, this makes the frame rate seem effectively double to Blender. I suggest trying to convert the media first as Blender may not be handling it correctly.
