Shader Pack: Unity standard shader in blender cycles

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to drop this here for people to grab. It’s the unity 5 standard shader implemented in blender. I worked hard to make it look as close as possible, though it’s still a bit off. It’s good enough for you to create your procedural materials with the intention of baking them and exporting them into Unity 5.

I can’t wait to see what amazing things people use this for. Feel free to take these shaders apart and rework them to your specific needs.

Blendswap doesn’t seem to have uploaded the file, so here is the paste-all Link http://www.pasteall.org/blend/36762

Thank you Soupertrooper !

I don’t know anything about Unity, but shouldn’t a red colored Standard Metallic (Metallic = 1) produce the same results as Standard Specular with red in both slots?

Fixed! http://www.pasteall.org/blend/36782

This one should work a lot better and be closer to what you would get in unity. Also hopefully it will be faster since I changed up some of the guts to be a bit less cluttered and stop doing things that weren’t working right or were just unnecessary. Let me know if anything else needs work. Also, does anybody know what’s going on with Blendswap? it’s been 3 days and my file hasn’t been uploaded yet.

Found another problem with the fresnel. Maybe this should be moved into the wip section.

Okay, so I fixed everything and it should work like the shader does in unity with like 90% accuracy (hopefully).

Enjoy!
