Node based modular building! Yes! We need that!

A bit too specific to actually have this be a hardcoded node-tree type. Basically, we need to see generic programming/parametric nodes developed first and then people can start building wizards on top of them via sets of group nodes.

I want it… Enough said. Even the beginings of a function like this would make blender the 3d creation software.

It’s already in blender, someone just has to write the python script for it haha!

From looking at what was going on, I’d say that there’s a good chance that this could be accomplished with Sverchok. The only thing keeping that from happening for me, is my limited understanding math and how Sverchok works. :frowning:
