alpha channel in Krita

Hey All,

I got Krita as a open source attempt to move away from photoshop and I’m struggling with two main things.
First off, when I make a selection and then delete that selection (i.e. select and remove sky) Krita only seems to remove half of the alpha channel. When I bring the new image with alpha info back into Blender, the area that I removed which should be completely transparent, is slightly opaque and I end up just doing the process in PS.

Also, can anyone point me to the Krita ‘clone stamp’ equivalent?

Thanks so much for all your help.

Krita by default anti-aliases your selection. Uncheck the Anti-aliasing checkbox in the selection tool option pane and you should get hard edges.

The clone tool is a brush in Krita, not a separate tool.
