Getting a frame counter to show on an animation

Hi all,

I am working on a two minute horror movie. It’s like a little spoof on the ghost hunter TV shows. So I have this camera in a haunted hospital, and I’d like the lower right corner to have either the time (ie. 02:23:16 AM) ticking off second by second, or then a frame counter. How is something like that done?

Many thanks!

In Blender it’s called a “Stamp” (either a frame stamp or a time stamp) and it’s found under the render tab.

It has a lot of options. Check the things you want to include. (Actually, uncheck the things you don’t want. The default has a bit too much included, IMHO.)

Thanks guys! Just what I need, both of them!
