Blender 2.74 scaling bug

Hello!
Excuse me because of my poor english…
In blender 2.74, When I scale an object through one of the x or y or z to 0, it scale on all of the axis.
Here is video link:

Yup it act like it should.

You try to make a health bar?
put the orgin dot(the center dot of the object) to the left of the plane and at the bottom(left down corner).
now if you scale it it should do what you want.

and if i see it correctly, you scale at X (to make it big) then at last frame you scale it down on x,y,z ?
thats not good aswell, so yes it will indeed scale all axis.

Yes, I want to create a health bar, but the origin dot is not a challenge.
The problem is scaling on x to 0, scale y and z to 0, too!!! and this problem is not on blender 2.69. please see video again…

Thank you for your attention.

ah i see you tell it to be 0.
but u can always scale it down with the mouse, 0 or 0.2 it’s kinda nothing.
and if you dont use y and z, you can always lock that axis in the object properties maybe that helps.

Thank you, that helped me.
But that is really a bug…
