Unwanted deformation with beveled curve

Hoping for some help:

I’m trying to model the curved ridge of a Tibetan monastery roof with one curve object beveled along a path. When I bevel the curve object along the path while the path is straight, the shape comes out fine. But when I start to bend the path to create the slope, the size of the shape changes the further up the Z axis the slope goes.

Curve object and shape (yes, they share the same origin point location):

Deformation of beveled curve with rise along Z-axis:

Original curve object compared to shape of beveled object at far end:

Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks!

It’s a known limitation. Try to model in X Y then convert to mesh and join them.
