Motion Graphics Compilation

Edit: Volume 2 is up now!

A short vid of some motion graphics tests that i’ve done in Blender. Feedback is greatly appreciated!

Nicely done and I can see this being incorporated into an ad. However, the volume level almost busted my speakers. Way to high, guy.

Here’s what I do since there is no site with a sound check that I know of. I set the speakers and the monitor sound bar to where it’s at the midpoint when Youtube or Vimeo clips sounds right with respect to the volume level. Then with that setting I edit my sound volume in the Blender Video Editor along with the video.

What you have here almost blew an old man off his chair. You need to address this since sometimes you want a sound level that is barely perceptible. And, other times you will want to key the sound level to rise and fall in the video. In the Playback menu on the timeline check : Audio Scrubbing and AV-sync for starters. But, after you get your speakers set to a midpoint.

Haha, thanks for the feedback. I’ll make sure I check my volume next time.

It’s fantastic, Thanks for sharing…

I love the first one good job

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it. I’m rendering out volume 2 right now.

Superb…great one

Great job! How did you build the text from the lines that fly in from the frame? That was slick.

For that one, I just converted a text object to a curve, separated the various pieces of the letters, then animated the bevel start and end properties. Pretty easy effect.

Good job man! this very nice work.
Canadian Health and Care Mall.

Been playing around with some animated accents. This one was created using a particle system and a particle texture. Great for spicing up an uninteresting project.

Here’s a compilation of an object build effect. Probably most useful for explainer vids.

Cool!
How do you anmate the transition objects? shapekeys? scale?

Mostly shape keys but I tried to animate the scale whenever possible just because it’s easier.

Here’s a basic glitch effect. Done entirely in the compositor.

Please consider doing a tutorial on the last two videos. Great work! I’d wondered how this kind of imagery could be accomplished in blender, and it looks neat

Thank you! And yes, tutorials are on their way.

awesome. i subbed on youtube, and i keep checking lol

I started a new thread for this but I might as well post it here. The glitch effect tutorial is up!

thank you for that follow up. Will finish watchin it today!
