Hi, I have used the blender VSE a lot recently and I find it is a very good video editor, however, I have just bought a new laptop and I am now wanting to edit on both my PC and laptop. However, once I save the blender file and transport it to my other computer, all of the video files and image files appear blank because they are routed to the location on the original computer. Is there a way to save a permanent copy of the blender file so I can transport it and edit the video somewhere else? I don’t really care if the file is very big. Is it possible?
There’s the option to pack files into the .blend but I don’t know if it works for movies. File -> External Data -> Pack All Into .blend
Personally, I would just copy all the videos over.
