I used to use VirtualDub, but I am on Windows 8 64 bit now, and thought perhaps there is a free application better suited to this task. I downloaded the ‘Cute Video Audio Joiner’ and when I was installing it, it tried to install some market research app. So I thought I might get some ideas here before downloaded some other brand of malware.
(edit) I actually found one that came installed with my machine called ‘cyberlink power director’.
Avidemux.-i dont know if it is simple enough.
No more basic possible than CLI… Have ffmpeg installed and use advice from this or any other similar page describing ffmpeg usage.
