Another Blender Troll

Started the troll in sculptris but finished in Blender. All the accessories were done in blender. I feel the back if the tunic looks muddy. Any comments or critiques are welcomed.

How can I reduce polycount like in Sculptris?




There are a couple ways to reduce the poly count. Since you’re using dyntopo, click the optimize button, that should help a little. You can also reduce the amount of polys by using a brush like clay strips at a very low strength (try 0.01) and at a lower detail size, using the collapse edges drawing method. Then jst draw over the mesh. The sculpt looks really good.:slight_smile:

Thank you for the help! I was retopo and pushed a button and now my move manipulator doesn’t work. I can scale and rotate. How can I unfreeze it, I’m on maya preset. Thanks in advance
