I just saw this thread:

and it displays a window that informs that FlashPlayer is required (using Firefox 34.0). I can watch this video in Vimeo site without flashplayer.
YouTube HTML5 embedded video works in the forum.
Are you saying you cannot see the video on that thread
For me the video looks/plays correctly on the page in Firefox and Chrome using OSX.

Yes, in the forum I can not see the Vimeo videos without flashplayer (Kubuntu Linux, Firefox 34). I can see HTML5 YouTube videos in the forum.
I thought it was a blenderartists problem. Thank you.
