Distance between objects in cloth collision

Hello, this is my first post here.

I’m a total noob with Blender. I just started a week ago, so sorry if my understanding is a little bit slow (I’m not native english either, so sorry for that too).

I’m creating a scene simulating some kind of “fallen poster” using cloth simulator, and this poster (plane) is not colliding in a realistic way with the floor. There’s a short distance between them(the poster is flying). Is there anything I can do to solve it?

Thanks in advance!

In the collision settings try reducing the Soft Body and Cloth / Outer value and for the cloth reduce the Cloth Collision / Distance
You may need to increase cloth sim quality and steps in case you get weird effects with the collision

It worked like a charm, thanks!

To get more realistic blends in the simulation, I have added the “subdivision surface” modifier, but the plane gets rounded corners. Is there a way to avoid that?
