Direction of hair particles

Hello everyone,

I have a big problem on my project in blender with the fur of my weasel. Some particles with their children grow under the surface whereas all my normals are ok.

  • Same pb with modifiers mirror and subsurf applied
  • When I flip the normals’ direction, particles that matter are on the surface (and normal particles, inside)
  • When I change the general seed of my particle system, the place of gaps change
  • Same pb when I create a new particle system
  • Same pb when I append the weasel alone in a new file .blend

In particle system, emission, check ‘use modifer stack’. See if that fixes it.
