Ok so Im new to sims this is my first time using them so i was following this one guys tutorial and it involved a water sim poring into a glass so when i finished i wanted to render it so i render and when it was finish the water was gone but in the render preview i can still see the water any ideas would be helpful

Rather than showing us the render you should be showing us your scene and render settings as well as a link to your blend file.
We are having to guess what ALL of your hundreds of settings are based purely on that single image !!
It’s like asking your doctor to diagnose an illness just by giving them a photograph of your toe nail
Check your materials are correct
Check your render layers are correct
Check your modifier settings are set to display at render time
Check your outliner for objects that you have set to be non renderable
