A new Greek Blender community is emerging in Google+ (you may find the link below).
We are looking for people from Greece (or Greek speaking of course) to contribute with their presence.

Questions, Answers, Tutorials, Events, Hangouts and many more are waiting for you so …

Join us and help us spread the Blender word around here in Greece so that any 3D artist may hear and learn about the possibilities of it.

And don’t forget my Blender dedicated blog and YouTube channel where you will find beginners tutorials about Blender in Greek and all the help you will need.

I have also added “blender-gr” as irc channel at the same server (freenode) as main blender irc channel “blender”. We welcome all Greeks and non greeks who love blender :slight_smile:

Here we are after one year:

The community is doing well.
We are 134 (Greek) members and counting (note all of them active though).

We ve done 8 video Hangouts over the last year.

We ve done four live meetings
(witch take place in Athens Hackerspace and we thank them for giving us the space)

We recently did our first workshop (not as many participants though).
Results can be seen below.

I feel confident that this community will have good results in getting “Greeks” to learn about Blender.
