Smoke Domain Crashes

Hi,
Whenever I add a smoke domain to a blender project, it freezes and software and I am forced to close it. Is there a way to fix this?

Can you provide more info? There could be thousands of reasons why blender crashes. Can you make a video/screenshot?
You may also try to open the console, if I remember well in Window=> Show console, and see what happens there when you add a smoke domain.

delete everything related to the smoke simulation, select the object you wish to emit smoke, press space, and search > quick smoke.

Thanks, I know what the problem is now. It says my graphics card doesn’t support the 3d view smoke drawing. I don’t think that can be fixed without getting a new graphics card, can it?

Unfortunately, i think you should buy another graphics card in order to solve the problem. What gpu do you have? Your last hope is for a driver update.
