I am 24 and have been working full time for a production company, mostly taking care of motion graphics. I have taught myself how to use blender for the past 2 years but am still an amateur. I am thinking of putting my freelance job behind me and trying to get into architectural rendering. The location I am in has a very small if no 3D community which means that most of the 3D work in my city gets out sourced to another city. I would like to know of any experiences others have had with wanting to freelance in the 3D industry and if it is reasonable to make a living off of it.
Any advice would be much appreciated
