Overlapping faces search

I’m asking to learn if blender have got something that help us to find our overlapping faces to our models.
Thanks!

I know you can remove double vertices if that helps ?

In edit mode go to Mesh> Vertices > Remove doubles.

Well…removing the double vertices will not remove the overlapping faces (the faces that pass through other faces).
Thanks for the reply anyway!

use the printer addon
there is an intersect option for faces!

I saw the print add-on, i pressed the “intersect” button but nothing happened.
I don’t know how to use it right so it can remove the overlapped faces.

So, what to do in order to make it able to remove the overlapped faces?
Thanks!

can you show pics or even upload sample file so we can look at it !

not certain what you mean overlapped faces !

printer analy will give you if there is any intersecting faces

you can see this 1 face that is exactly inside of the big face
how i can fix it?

would be easier with file !

looks like an ngon may be ?
did u try to delete it

You was right!
Deleting it and remaking it it fix the problem.
Thanks! (problem solved).

But the main reason for this topic was how to find them.
So, how do we find them? (i have got a scene with 50K+ faces and i can’t search them manually 1-1…If blender have got something that search those faces and selecting them it can be a great help!)

If you’re looking for them in the same object there’s a tool that may help.
It’s the Mesh Analysis, You can find it in edit mode in the N panel:

Just set it to Intersect and it will make the intersecting faces Red.
