UV map is acting up.

Hey guys i have these wierd lines when i try to fill out small parts of my obejct. And it projects itself on the model :confused: any fixes or do i have to start over on something ?

Select everything in the UVmap and see if you can find extremely thin faces that might result from unwrapping mistakes.

Chances are there’s a seam (or a lack of one) in a dubious place, it could also be from pinning certain vertices of two islands far from each other and the faces in between get stretched through the texture. You might want to redo the UVmap just to be sure, as it looks like a simple smart projection which at times is not the most optimal way to produce a map.

Thanks for the help :slight_smile: but after lots of tries the uv map no matter how i try unwrap it or seam it, the lines still appears. so now i’ll just paint it insted of filling and so far it seems like it’s working
