Last Friday I were a bit bored and decided to start this quick project in Blender. It took me two days to model it and I have then been used a couple of days to make the materials and lighting look good. - at least good to me…
One of the biggest problems I ran into were getting the lighting setup right, but I decided to go with a setup using one plane on the left side of the phone and one above or in front of it to make the reflection.
I choose the desaturated, fading, cyan-ish color for the background to make some kind of highlight around the phone and because the red and cyan color are complementary colors.
Yeeea! That is quite awesome! :eyebrowlift2:
Aaand yep… The flash is too squared, because of my bad modelling skils… To save topology, which in this case made it easier to control the rounded edges, I made the flash a subdivided square unstead of an octagon. - Obviously a bad decision…
Anyway - Thanks for your feedback!
