Object following surface of other object ?

Hey guys

one question: when you have as example a screw as seperate object, how can i make it following the surface of a other object ??

Parent one to the other or both to another helper object (empty). Select, ctrl+P.

Are you talking about placing bolt/rivet heads on the surface of a object like a boiler/pipes?
