VR/AR Producer
Job Description:
The Third Floor Los Angeles is looking for a VR/AR Producer to work with us in the full creation of Virtual Reality and AR Content utilizing the Unreal game engine.
This is a mid to senior level position. We are seeking an experienced producer to assist with the digital production of our content. The VR/AR Producer is responsible for managing all cross-functional aspects of from concept to launch to live operations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, technical understanding of game development and, most importantly, a passion for Films and Games. The Unreal Engine will be the primary development focus, but familiarity with other game engines is desired.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain production budgets and development schedules and roadmaps
- Manage the day-to-day efforts of the production team of one or more projects.
- Own quality of the product and overall user experience
- Work collaboratively with world-class directors, game designers, artists, and engineers to drive results and outcomes
- Passionately articulate goals and team principles to help form a stimulating and fun work environment and culture
- Oversee all aspects of Project management including but not limited to: in-house supervision, outsourcing, Post-Production.
- Collaborate with a team including off site members
Essential:
- BS degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Strong analytical, technical, and project management skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of game production is required
- Understanding and experience with VR/AR production a huge Plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years working experience in video games production.
- Experience overseeing a game project from concept to launch
- Strong Quality Assurance background
- Proactive, organized work style with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Driven and passionate about VR/AR and games as an experienced gamer
- Experience with Digital film production a Plus.
