Camera clipping minimum

Is there a way to set the near point of camera clipping to less than 0.001?

I have a huge scene of the International space station orbiting the Earth- I want the camera to zoom in very close to the station to look at details… but due to the scale .001 blender units causes clipping when the camera moves too close… (And because I did a lot of work with carefully timed particles in the scene - for instance particles emitted at point A arrive at point B at a given frame number- selecting ALL and scaling up by a factor of 10 requires a lot of rework…) All the motions I have choreographed so far in the scene get all messed up when I scale up…

sorry there is no way to set it lower than that. you can try scaling your scene up though.

You might try moving the camera back and then change fov to a much smaller angle, 10 degrees or so.
