Setting GPU rendering

Hi everyone!

I’m trying to setup GPU rendering and I’m running into some problems and would love some help!
I have a Gigabyte GeForce 970 GPU and when I set up the settings in system preferences and try to go into the rendered view or render it out as an image it goes blank. Is there something I’m missing?

A few key points/questions:

  • I’ve updated my drivers for my GPU already
  • Is my GPU non compatible?
  • Is there some add on I’m missing?
  • Or am I stupid for missing something obvious?

enable cuda in the system settings
File–>user preferences–> system --> compute device --> cpu/cuda
otherwise a .blend would be helpful

Hi, do you get any error messages in render window?
Make sure you use Blender 2.73, older doesnt support GTX 900.
