I know that a lot of Blender users are also Arch Vis peeps and I landed a second interview with an Arch Vis place. I am almost positive he will offer me the job. I live in Ohio USA. What is an average non-major city, such as midwest, southern, non LA, non NYC, Non-Cgicago, arch Vis person’s salary? I was thinking about asking for 50k. I was previously VFX and worked for major broadcast places like YES Network and WWE. I also have a Promax BDA award for best out of house. Am I low balling myself? The job is in cincinatti ohio.
Backstrory is that I interviewed once but didn’t have arch Vis portfolio so they tested me. Rocked out a project in blender and Cycles and they were super impressed. Impressed enough to want to interview me on a saturday.
