Background image after Circled Render Won't work :(

Can somebody please help me? I have been trying for AGES for the god damn frikin background image to come up after i render it BUT IT FRIKIN DOESNT and im getting really angry because I have been trying to make it show but it wont and its so frustrating

Are you talking about the background option in the properties panel ?

If so this is for use as a modelling reference and is not for rendering

If not supply more specific info including screenshots and example blend file
