Subsurface and hairs

Hi,

I have a little issue with my particles hair system.

I put it on the low poly and after add a subdiv modifier.

The issue is that the hair don’t follow the subsurf, but the low poly.


In my particle system I put the “use modifier stack”.


Right now my system is like that.


If I change the modifier stack to put the subsurf at the bottom, I have this result.


Somebody knows ho to fix this issue without start all over ?

The only way out of this is to start the hair again, or use the low-poly model for the hair. The bigger question is, will it look wrong if you use the low poly model?
From close up, you will see that the hair is not properly attached, but if you are zoomed out, you cannot tell. Best thing to do is give it a test render and see if it makes sense to start over.

I will restart, it’s not fun but I have to, it’s for a close up.
