Sharpening effect on forum images...

Every image has this sharpening effect applied. Can you turn it off please?

I mean embedded images in the forums, before you click them full-size, they have this sharpening thing going on…
It’s not good. It makes many images look oversharpened, unprofessional.

Not every image, the attachment display system creates the opposite effect on .png images (ie. they look blurry).

But yes, I would support a move to improve the way the image is scaled in the thumbnail.
