What are some good ones. I know VRAY but it is not compatible with 2.73.

Hi, it makes no difference which render engine you use, you need a powerful system to get fast render results.
If you have a dual eight core Xeon system V-Ray and Cycles is fast, if you have a system with 4 Titan Octane is fast.
Even Luxrender Luxcore is extrem fast with a clever setup and a powerful system.

Hey, how about trying Corona renderer, its quite fast on CPU.
