How do I set up wrist movements?

Hey everyone.
I’ve got a problem with my rig.
I’ve added a bone for the wrist, but when I rotate it, something bizarre happens.

I want the whole hand to move with the wrist, but when it moves, the whole thing loses its shape.
Here’s a picture for proof.

I had a look at it, it seems your hand bone is sharing weights with other bones, this will always cause distortion.

I tried to remove the weight on the wrist bone, but then I’m still having the same problem.

I’m not sure why the hand isn’t retaining it’s shape when I move it. Mind giving me some insight? I would really appreciate the help.

Alright, well I figured out what was going wrong.
It was as simple as not having the bones properly parented to the wrist. After I did that, they all swing in motion as they should.

Koumis was also right, that I needed to re-weight-paint the bones.

Hopefully this’ll help someone with a similar problem.
