FINDING CERTAIN NODES and video walk though

Hello all,

I am starting to learn render layers and passes. I was wondering if there is a page for node set up for pre-comp/compositing for lens blur, color grade, etc like in this video? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTPQKzpq4mA now for video if I do this, will one set up work through whole video or do you have to go through each frame?

I did find this on the manual this info http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:2.6/Manual/Composite_Nodes/Types/Color

but, it would be nice to see a video that walks you though it. since the video breakdown shows the effects of certain composite types.

Could be there is scattered information on widely used compositing node groups; i haven’t seen all info gathered with examples and theory behind. Bashi has been generous and has a page on his site which shares his collection of such nodes -b°wide NodePack - a lot of useful stuff and examples to explore.

Wiki Manual today has Server error 500 - basically something has gone wrong but Color mixing works same as in any photo editing software - can use even Gimp to explore how different modes work. There was a page here on forum having math formulas based on which color mixing works - do not have link at hands.

Here they are:
