Forum software wants me to post more, but the 3 characters in the first line are all that has to be known to to understand that this is a non-starter.

Connecting interface can always be GPL.

Yeah… I’m pretty sure the deep integration necessary for this to be useful (read: fast) would be a violation of the GPL. At the point where it would be kosher for Blender integration (no shared memory, no direct access to scene data), you may as well just export to Houdini and then import an alembic/mesh cache, because that’s all that will really be happening behind the scenes anyway.
