still strugling with the tail

I used simple tentacle to made the tail bones but 3 bones didnt do a very nice effect on bending it. I thinked “well I just add some segment in curve bones”. But then, rigify get an error message and dont want to generate. It took me a moment to anderstant where it come from as I had moved plenty thing and added some limbs bones to control the cat ears and thinked it was a ear problem but thats another story.

I will try simply ading plenty of subdivision to the actual bones instead and hope it work that way. But out of curiosity ( and also as it will be more easy to use with less of these gizmo things) is there a way to do it with segment? Befor or after the generation.
