Rotating an object in increments

Hello, everyone. I have a very simple question that I can’t seem to find the answer to. I am using an iMac, and using Blender 2.73 in its default settings. In 3D view mode, I want to rotate an object, say, in fixed increments of 5 degrees or so, so that it is easy to rotate and object in whole numbers. I know I can simply type in the angle numbers in the transform field, but read that if you hold down Control and rotate in the 3D view, it rotates in 5 degree increments. I tried to use all of the modifier keys, but nothing seems to work. Can anyone suggest anything?

Joe

Make sure transform snapping is set to ‘Increment’.

Oh, for the love of Pete! I knew it had to be something obvious. Thanks, Stan Pancakes!
