I am thinking of trying to change the material in my fluid render to try and make it look like say, the liquid from inside a glow stick. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas about how this might be possible?
I was thinking of combining an emission and a glass (IOR 1.33) node for a start, but I’m wondering might I need to start getting into volume and maybe some sortof SSS type stuff to make it look ok?
I have tried my above suggested method and it did’nt really give any good results. I think also the ‘glowing part’ of the liquid needs to have a sortof marbleised strandy feel to a certain extent, as usually say the edge of that glowstick liquid doesn’t seem to glow as much as the ‘centre’.
