Real Material Weight?

I’m modeling jewelry for 3d print and I was wondering if Blender has a tool which you can see the material weight the amount of gold or the amount of silver, etc…kinda like like when you click volume or area in the 3d tools shelf it generates the cubic size.

It’s not built into Blender, but if you google “weight of <substance name> by volume” you’ll find calculators for a lot of common things. You might find this page especially helpful: http://www.aqua-calc.com/calculate/volume-to-weight

you could make a small script to show the mass function of the volume calculated !
may be with a menu for type of material and it’s density

Thanks man. That helps.
