What is it? It seems like an eye, but I haven’t been able to confirm that.
What do you think the Blender logo is?
Isn’t it supposed to be the B from Blender, but “blended”/twisted, like inside a blender?
Regardless of what its supposed to be, it could sure use with an update. I know, subjective, but when Blender reaches a big milestone version… like its website, the logo could use a more modern update to it.
Doesn’t really resemble a B to be honest. I can see the B in a Blender thing in the logo but it looks more like an O in a Blender to me. The logo could use a bit of work I suppose. It hasn’t been that big of an issue to me though. It’s not really that ugly, just not that pretty.
It’s a hand in an “OK” symbol (the circle is the thumb and forefinger, the three “flags” are fingers), with an eye looking through the thumb/forefinger circle.
Hmm, never thought of it that way, but I suppose I can see it.
I always thought it resembled an eye, but I suppose it could be updated.
Years ago I read an article that said the Blender logo was an eye. Apparantly it originally looked like this…
