change smoke density in particle lifetime (in cycles)

I try to change the smoke density in a particle liftime but no successs.
this was my node setup.
maybe somebody have a solution.

I may be wrong, but I think you’re mixing apples and pears here…
Particles are particles and smoke is smoke. Settings and attributes for one of the two do not apply to the other and vice versa. Or specifically for your case: Since smoke is not made out of particles, there simply is no particle age parameter to drive anything.

Care to elaborate what you’re trying to do?
If you want the smoke to dissolve over time, just check “Dissolve” in the smoke settings.

Or “fake” smoke by indeed using a particle system instead of the dedicated smoke simulation.

thanks for your answer,

yep…i use “fake” smoke…so the flow is not a mesh it is a particle system.
when i use the dissolve function in the domain settings the smoke start to dissaper AFTER the particle liftime but i tried to get a smoke which dissolve in the particle liftime.

it seems to be impossible
