Anyway to see the result of Freestyle without having to re-render?
Guess its not possible in the 3d-viewport (set to render)? But maybe some way to do it in compositing?

Freestyle is a post rendering effect so you would have to render something. You can turn off all passes an in Blender Render just enable the Freestyle layer, when you render you’ll only see the freestyle lines
