object tracks its own location, and manipulates led on it, and brodcasts camera track

object tracks it’s own location, and orientation, manipulates color leds on it, and broadcasts camera track as color data and strobe or another method?

Both to lock onto as high contrast tracking target, and accelerometer based dead reckoning.

Err… Right now it just reads like spam.

Is this a feature request, something related to Blender’s functionality, hooking up Blender functionality with external technology, a reply that was accidentally started as a new thread ect…?

No it’s a discussion about stuff we could make using adafruit,

then write a addon or something, it’s not for me, it’s for animations.(it just sounded useful)

Except there’s no mention of that in either the title or the first post.

Also, an Adafruit DIY discussion would have a better fit in the Off Topic forum since it’s not closely related to either Blender or CG.

*Animation.

I don’t think Adafruit actually does animation inside of Blender, it’s basically a simple computing platform that most people right now use to control smart gadgets, robots, or other devices. It’s also not supposed to be a really powerful device so making it control CPU-intensive rigs in Blender may not work well.

Also, you need to learn to explain things better and in more detail, as right now it seems you’re expecting members of this forum to be mind-readers.

No it assumes if you don’t know what I mean, you will ask.

something like this

or something different, but for 3d mice, animation tracking, and for gaming.

Gobbledegook thread post —> Off Topic

Try not to just put a series of random words one after the other. Read what you write before you press the send button. If its complete bollocks delete it and try again

My phone has been giving me hell lately, spellcheck is adding new words every time I hit back… I am on my pc now.

Just had to clear prediction history and update suggestions and it seems to have fixed it.

Anyway, the idea I regurgitated,

Create a device that is open source, that is for 3d mice, and animation motion capture, and for robotics,
that broadcasts it’s orientation and linV with very high precision,

This will make gaming, animation and mocap much easier.

and the article I was reading and typing at the same time is -> http://cdn.intechopen.com/pdfs-wm/6244.pdf

anywho - it features a flux capacitor it looks like

it is intresting and makes it appear the much better devices are on the way.

You could always get one of these.

Not open source, but it’s still darn cool.
