Country house

As you see, It’s far from finished, and I even didn’t apply material to some objects. However I posted this so that you guys can give me some ideas what to add and so on.

When look at the inside of the house from windows, it horrible. Inside the house is empty and dark.
Those windows on the roof… we can see the roof texture from the window.
It’s better to work more on windows.

And… wood fence; i thunk need to be more thick.

It’s a wip thought

Well, what does it mean exactly?

There’s something a little unconvincing about the lighting, it seems very harsh (lots of burn out in the textures), without having the sharper shadows normally associated with a direct sun. Your background doesn’t suggest that we should be seeing sharp shadows though, so the harshness of the lighting in an overcast situation is the odd part. If I recall correclty, taking photos in overcast conditions is pretty hard, the sky often gets blown out white compared to a reasonably exposed subject, but if the background is reasonably exposed then the subject is often very dark. In your case, it looks a bit like a photo taken with the exposure set too high (and only a little overexposed for the sky). Anyway, I know it’s not supposed to be a photo, but it just looks like something that we wouldn’t see with our eyes, or in a photo, so a little tweaking is needed to make that aspect of your scene convincing…assuming that is what you want.

One thing that might contribute to it could be if your walls are a bit too white. Be careful when using white textures, I don’t know if anything is ever really going to reflect all light that hits it. Also, the lighting direction (from the front left judging by the shadows) is not consistent with the lighting of the background (overcast, mostly above and a little to the right).

I’ll see what I can do to fix these problems***My portfolio: http://adamszablewski.cgsociety.org/
