The Dirge, RP race WIPS

So the dirge are an original faction/ race that I’m creating for a sci-fi RP group over on deviant-art, And I am going to be posting all of the relevant WIPs, renders onto this thread. So, they are pretty much an intelligent, more individualistic version of the necromorphs from DS, or the thing, manipulationg the genetic information of their hosts to create ships, and creatures/characters, they are more interested in diplomacy rather than warfare however.

The first ship that I have been working on is the Cacera scout-ship, using dynatopo

Okay a few things now!, the first is a test of an organic shader that I’ve been working on

Second is the clay render of the ship that I’ve got

and the last one is the final render that I’ve settled with. I’ve gone for simple colors, as the organic shaders are kicking my a$$.
