Lag when saving a project ?

Hi,

I’m not sure if it’s related to Blender version (2.73a x64 with Windows 7 here), the project or something else (hard drive tired ?) but sometimes, it takes few seconds (about 5) before the project is saved and it can be instantaneous the next time I click CTRL + S.

It never happened to me before.

I checked my hard drive, it seems ok so have you an idea of the cause of this ?

The project is not big, no particles, 2 textures and an HDR.

When you go to ‘save as’ is the compressed box checked? (scroll down on the left panel in the save as menu to find the box)
That will slow down ctrl+S.

Thanks for answer. No, Compressed box is not checked.

Well, I tried with 2.72b and no problem. I’ll send a bug report.

For those who experimented the problem, it has been fixed in the last build.
