Save Buffers in Performace Tab Grayed Out

hey everyone!

is the save buffers checkbox in the Performace tab on the Render panel grayed out for anyone else? I’m using Cycles and have CUDA enabled. seems like it’s been like this for a while…or is it just me?


Did you by any chance define a render border? That disables “Save Buffers” automatically…
Oh, and btw: From my understanding “Use Spatial Splits” is an unfinished feature that’s best to avoid for the time being, as it doesn’t really speed up anything.

Yep, I had render border checked off. I guess I never understood there was a relationship between the two. Thanks for the tip on the spatial splits!
