Does anyone know what is happening with the nif import/export tool?
Niftools seem to be spread over sourceforge and git sites with big gaps in the information, in places they suggest using Blender 2.49 and in others that you can use 2.69 but recommend 2.7x. I have found a git install in the Arch repositories for PyFFI that was broken, having fixed that I installed it and the latest plugin but cannot get it to work with 2.73.
I need to export meshes, materials and animations to nif format eventually but it seems niftools are a long way off being able to do that, so is there any other way to do it?
