using an animated (posemode) figure as a collision body

Hey All,

I have a character I animated (with armature in pose mode) and there are several objects in my scene which I animated with Rigid Body physics. I need the objects to collide with my animated figure, however, when I give him Rigid Body Physics Blender is still using his world position as an object rather than his posed position via pose mode.
If you look at the screengrab attached here you’ll see I have my character selected but his ‘Collision Box’ is centered on where his ‘Rest Pose’ would be.
Needless to say, he doesn’t act as the collision body I hoped he would.
Please let me know if I’m missing a step here - my first thought was to adjust the hierarchy via the modifier tab, however, RBP do not appear there.

Thanks,

Try using “mesh” or “convex hull” and setting it to “final”.

hmm, well its not perfect, but it’s much closer. I’ll just delete the few objects which still pass through the mesh.

Thanks,
