hummm… that was strange… not sure why that got posted twice…

Okay, didn’t watch the videos, but looking things over, norman’s right. Rigify is a group of python scripts that is like ‘building blocks’ to create a rig.

Rigify currently creates a full biped rig, but it does it by these ‘building blocks’/groups of python scripts. One python script creates a leg rig, next script creates a spine rig, next script does the arm rig, next script creates the hand rig. Rigify will also create just the smaller parts if you want. Want a finger rig? You can create on with the default rigify.

I’ve played with the scripts a bit, but haven’t gotten anywhere with it.

Anyone good with python should be able to expand rigify to create any type of rig you want. Want a spider leg rig? it’s a python script away…
