Smoke sim collision objects problem.

Hey hey.
I’m doing a pretty hefty simulation/animation project at the moment. Some of us older folks will remember The Station Nightclub fire back in 2003 caused by pyrotechnics igniting polyurithane on the walls during the Great White show, well that’s what I’m doing in Blender right now. I’ve got the nightclub walls and ceiling as the collision objects, but the smoke collision happens just before it gets to the actual object, so there’s about 1/4 inch of space between the smoke and ceiling or walls. I can’t seem to remedy this issue, any ideas? I’m not doing really high resolution since this requires a LOT of smoke. 36 divisions with 2 divisions on high res.

Moved from “General Forums > Blender and CG Discussions” to “Support > Particles and Physics Simulations”

32 divisions isn’t nearly enough. Turn that up to 96 or more and see what happens. I’m pretty sure that that will remove the gap.
