simple idea that to improve the blender sculp.


I dont see this option in blender sculpt.
The idea is something like mask by separated meshes.
An object can have separate meshes, so i can be possible to
mask by separated meshes.
I have attached an example.I really need this option

a workaround is this : gointo edit mode, select a vertex of the pocket, select connected, so whole pocket is selected. then hide. now go to sculpt mode, the pocket is visible, but you cannot sculpt on it, so it is masked so to say… of course, if the mesh is very dense going into edit mode is not a nice option, but it works.

dont work for me, i am using the multi resolution modifier.
When i hide the selected mesh in edit mode and go to sculpt mode i still can sculpt in the pocket.
Your idea work if i dont use the multi resolution modifier.
